Didsbury dinner time!

Cracking Good Food cooked up quite a feast at the Albert Club in Didsbury on 30 March to mark the launch of Didsbury Dinners: Low Carbon Cookbook. Edited by Amanda Woodvine from Action for Sustainable Living, the recipe collection went on sale last weekend at Chorlton's Big Green Festival, where we had a stall and got festival-goers rustling up some tasty curries. We also celebrated our first birthday!

At the Didsbury Dinners event, Juliet (right) created a stunning vegetable jalfrezi while new cooks Nicola Shuttleworth (left) and Ian MacKenzie (middle) got cracking making pitta bread from scratch.
